I remember when UFC fighter Mike Perry asked for the Halo theme as his walkout music for one fight only for Beyoncé - Halo to be played instead 😂😂

Hi, Stacy. 1. Who Built It and Why?

Hundreds of thousands of years ago, an advanced alien race called the Forerunners built a network of seven Halo rings.

They were fighting a terrifying, zombie-like parasitic organism called the Flood, which infected and took over all intelligent life in the galaxy.
2. How Does the Weapon Work?

The Halo rings are actually a weapon of last resort:

It doesn't shoot the parasite directly: The Flood is too hard to destroy once it spreads.

It starves the parasite: When fired, a Halo ring releases an energy wave that kills all intelligent life (humans, aliens, and host bodies) across the galaxy.

The outcome: With no living creatures left to infect or eat, the Flood starves to death.

Think of it like burning down a forest to get rid of a pest infestation—a terrifying solution meant only for absolute emergencies.

3. What Happens in the Games?

In the games, humanity and an alien alliance (the Covenant) discover these rings:

The Covenant mistakenly worships the rings as holy objects, believing activating them will grant them godhood.

The Master Chief (the main hero) learns what the rings actually do and fights to stop the aliens from setting them off and destroying all life in the universe.

Lol I can only play with inverted controls. Fun fact: when the N64 was first released in 96' inverted controls were standard because developers assumed that's how gamers would navigate a 3D environment... similar to how pilots control a plane. It makes sense when you view the analog stick as your head. Push your head forward to look down, pull it back to look up.

Reason chief is in cryo because it took nearly a month in slipspace for the Autumn jump from Reach to Alpha Halo

TOTALLY AGREE with you on Cortana's voice acting, her original lines were read with a much more natural flow and in this game she sounds weird as hell. Not sure what the developers were thinking there. They should have just kept the original dialogue.

What an exciting start! I haven't played any Halo game because most of the games were not released on previous PlayStation consoles and I've always been a PlayStation fan. This is going to be an awesome series of videos!
