His broader point was that empires adopt and appropriate cuisine from the conquered. Fish and chips, all the pies…we love England! <br><br>On wool, we need to expand to a larger convo. Yes polyester has micro plastics. I wear almost no polyester, my entire wardrobe is organic cotton due to severe chemical sensitivity, but woollen goods are a luxury item for most of the world because the land to farm sheep is expensive. The average American family cannot afford wool. We love wool! ❤<br><br>Thanks for watching hope you enjoy.   He’s totally wrong about wool! Polyester is soo much worse to be burned in because it’s plastic, it melts onto your skin and causes WAY more severe burns. Cotton, wool, linen are infinitely better functional textiles it’s so insane to claim anything otherwise. This is very basic knowledge for sewists, so much so it’s concerning he is so confidently wrong about that

  It&apos;s funny he mentions &quot;high trust societies&quot; as a dog-whistle for racism because for women, there is no high-trust patriarchal society. Women have to PERFORM being highly trusting, but we cannot actually be highly trusting because if it gets us hurt, we will be blamed.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBo1FZU_RGU&amp;t=2427">40:27</a> Polyester and other synthetic fibers melt, it&apos;s safer to use cotton. If you burn cotton it won&apos;t stick to your skin, polyester is much more dangerous. Please be careful.

  Polyester is not a good fabric! It melts like the plastic it is when burned. Natural fibers are far better, for a variety of reasons.

  The problem with young women looking for Prince Charming is that makes them &nbsp;a prime target for men who are con artists (even the &apos;accidental&apos; frauds who can&apos;t live up to their own hype) Either way, the risk of becoming dependent on someone who is insecure, and producing dependents who are subject to what comes is very high.

  Hannah’s husband wouldn’t let her use pain pills or go to a hospital for a epidural. (She was in the hospital for one child and was given an epidural. She said it was heavenly.) Anyway, if my husband told me that I had to have a home birth and suffer, I would sleep with a gun. No more babies.

  You are absolutely not wrong about the visual similarities, down to the blonde crown braids and kerchief. &nbsp;But the part I find even more deeply disturbing is the similarity in the pressure to breed, breed, breed for the culture war regardless of whether you actually fundamentally WANT so many kids, can care for them, etc. &nbsp;Soldiers, not brand new tiny humans.

  Video was interesting. Healthcare person here. Polyester is not at overall safer around heat/fire. It melts when burning and almost fuses to the skin/flesh. It takes longer/is harder to cool for someone immediately burning and it is more difficult to take care of later on. Cotton when it burns crumbles and falls off and leaves just the burned skin/wound to take care of.
