  Why does this video have to begin with the ignorant foulmouth on the right who is pretending that she wants to learn about art? A huge turnoff. Yours is not the only video about Bruegel''s 1562 masterpiece. Thumbs down. Unsubscribe.

  Everyone being offended at the woman at the start. Get a grip of yourselves. It’s a from a BBC comedy satire programme that philomena Cunk narrates her dimwitted views on history. Cunk on Earth, give it a watch, you may smile people.

  In college art history, I was taught these triptych paintings were like television for the upper middle class in the Middle Ages. After a dinner, the host would lead guests to the wall where the painting hung and UNFOLD it. Guests could spend hours examining, analyzing and discussing the details.

  I'm not an art historian but, I've always found this man's work to be fascinating. Not just for the subject matter but, the sheer volume of detail in every inch of the canvas in many of his works.

  This is utterly incredible. I can't imagine anyone painting that . The number of subjects presented is just unreal. The details blow me away. I can imagine it could take a entire day to paint one person . The background , the the, im at  loss for words..
