I respect JTT a lot for leaving the industry behind and keeping a low profile.

I felt so bad for JTT. He never wanted that level of fame. He did a great job of side stepping it and used it as a tool to get what he wanted. And he knew when to walk away.

I am happy his life is on his terms now.

Any adult that would be angry at a child/teen actor for leaving acting is an absolute jerk. JTT started on Home Improvement when he was too young to consent to being on the show and understand what it meant to be on a show like that. If as a young adult he wanted to go to college, he shouldn’t be blamed for that.

I think the most bizarre thing is that Tim has openly said he does not like children but yet pretty much exclusively made kids movies

In 2012, I met Taran through friends. He had invited us for a day trip on his boat and it was an absolute delight. It was my first time out on the ocean and I felt so at ease - he was, in my brief experience, an incredibly competent, gracious, and well-centered human. Thought I'd throw my two cents in the bucket. ✨

I grew up watching the show, it's disappointing to hear Tim Allen treated the kids poorly, I think any decent person would eventually start treating them like their own kids after spending that much time together.

I need to start a petition for you to do a deep dive into Beverly Hills 90210 😩

My absolute favorite "Boomer moment" is when Patricia Richardson said there wouldn't be a Home Improvement reboot because "I mean, Zach is now a FELON".

As if Tim Allen didn't become a felon when he got busted selling 1.5LB of cocaine to an undercover cop in '78. Nah, that's just a part of his kooky boomer backstory, they LOVE to brag about all the stuff they got away with back in the "good old days"

I’m glad JTT finished college. It’s not unusual for child actors to choose a career outside of film , or go behind the camera instead.

I live in Eugene, Oregon. The older brother was just arrested here again last week. I think it's the fifth or sixth time in the last few years.
