Only thing about DQ7 I can think about is that Kiefer looks like a character from Team America! 🤣🤣

I'm glad people are appreciating Maribel more. When I played DQ7 on PSX I found it a real slog but party chat kept me sane! Maribel's constant belittling statements cracked me up, maybe it's just my type of humour.

Unpopular opinion.....I LIKE grinding and grinding on metals in DQ games.

i really enjoyed the demo as well. good to see and hear some of the comparisons to the previous versions. i like the idea of cutting down on time by making battles and menus more expedited. thank you for sharing and thank you for avoiding spoiler lol!

Something I can never hate about this game is optimization. They did an awesome job optimizing this game!!

One thing I thought was clever is part of the opening they have you get the Wholly Holy Water as part of opening up the shrine. An item in the original game you would need late into the game. Saves you a trip of remembering to go pick it up or having to backtrack all the way back to the present island and then turn around to go back to related tablet and having go through the whole dungeon again on top of that. A HUGE time saver.
