It's just on the edge of town. Been there longer than I've been alive, that's for sure. Weird thing never stops turning... I walk past it every day on my way home from the school. I try not to let my students talk about it. They get all mystical and conjure all kinds of radical theories. "It's a portal to 100,000 different dimensions!" Ludicrous. The '100K' is probably just the company that left it there or something. Apparently, when I was a kid, someone climbed in there and never came back out. The thing is dangerous. It's best to leave these things alone. Although... I did look inside once. I saw a thin vertical strip of light like a cut hanging in the air. Must have been the sun coming through a crack in the metal... not sure. I've just ignored it ever since. Ya... It's best to leave these things alone. ____________________________________________ Music by: Jon Hofer of Distant Systems and Futurescapes Additional Animation by: Luke Erickson ____________________________________________ 🙋‍♂️ Join the Futurescapes Community Discord: Discord: discord 🪐 Music, wallpapers, newsletter, licensing and more at: futurescapesuniverse.com 👕 Apparel, accessories, home and decor products at: futurescapeslifestyle.com 🧑‍🚀 Join The Futurescapes Ambience Membership community at: patreon.com/Futurescapes 🎨 All Futurescapes music is composed originally without the use of AI.
