  My thanks to everyone for the kind comments. I'm pleased to have done my part to honor Willie's legacy.   Now working on getting markers placed at locations in Atlanta: the sites of the Pig and Whistle, (now Shaq's Krispy Kreme) on Ponce de Leon, Ed Rhodes studio at 13th and Peachtree, and a couple of his former homes. I'm deeply grateful for all the support. DF

  He was my great grandmothers age by two years. She was the first person ever to take me fishing. I miss the old folks

  Wow thanks for whomever did this! &nbsp;Willie is my favorite pre WW II blues artist! &nbsp;I&apos;m an East TN musician and I resonate with his softer &quot;mountain&quot; voice of Willie over the Delta artists. &nbsp;His recordings are so full of emotion and mystery -- truly the blueprint for Southern Rock and beyond. &nbsp;He always cheers me up and gives me chills. &nbsp;I hope he had a good time and enjoyed himself. &nbsp;He was truly one of the first guitarist songwriters Stephan was right, Broke Down was one of his only &quot;dark blues&quot; and was a great mix of bluegrass, ragtime and boogie woogie. &nbsp;What a player!

  Blind Willie McTell is my favorite country blues artist and his Statesboro Blues is my all time favorite blues song. Thanks for doing this movie and for putting it on YouTube!
