  I am a survivor of the &apos;Whilkut&apos; tribe and the &apos;Chilula&apos; The main surviving family is regarded as the &apos;Moon&apos; Tribe. Me and my family own the traditional tribal grounds on Redwood Creek. &nbsp;I&apos;m not Super well versed in our &apos;lore&apos; but here locally it&apos;s well known that the Yurok and Hoopa have had beef for many generations. Despite speaking the same language the Hoopa sold us out to the Army, leading to the worst massacre of native Americans on the west coast. (Woodley Island massacre). That being said, my family bridges the hoopa and Yurok. And I can&apos;t wait to ask my Aunt who teaches the Yurok language at HSU here in CA about our &apos;sasquatch&apos; history. Thanks for giving all of us a shout out and keeping a fraction of our culture alive.
