  The particle effects from the altar at the beginning were interesting, but when the bass boosted jeopardy theme started and the gore images happened, the quality plummeted down into the earth’s core ☠️☠️☠️

  So, for anyone wondering what the point of the chase sequence was and why the mod started breaking down afterwards, the chase is a scripted sequence that’s supposed to keep you on the ground, put you into a maze where you can’t sprint, and you have to get through the very short maze in a certain amount of time or you die and permanently lose hearts. The problem is that he ended up managing to climb the trees during the buildup, so he ended up glitching out of the maze event, and so the game got stuck trying to play the maze sequence in the background while also recognizing that he’s not in the maze anymore. That’s why the random sounds kept happening, and why later on the textures started breaking down.
