  This bike is exclusively for people who just do the descents and then ride the lift back to the top. Basically, every YouTuber except for you. Thank you for actually telling it like it is instead of just saying “52 tooth cassette means it’s great for climbing!”

  Dude, seeing Seth back out riding with actual POV angles etc feels SOOOO good. Back time traveled to times before the pandemic. Absolutely loving it

  I think the thing I love best about the Grim Donut is that it&apos;s so dumb but it actually manages to teach me about bike geometry. &nbsp;I mean, I can read all the reviews about bikes all day long but I have no idea what the reviewer means when describing what half a degree difference here or there feel like. &nbsp;I&apos;m a novice/casual rider and I probably won&apos;t feel the difference at all. &nbsp;But then you go all-out and make a crazy bike like this and it becomes much more obvious and understandable what the geometry tradeoffs are.

  a crazy slack steerer seems like the perfect opportunity for a linkage fork, if only because you could get the wheel to actually turn instead of just flop side to side

  The statements like: &quot;Descends better than a downhill bike and goes uphill worse than an enduro&quot; and &quot;Not playful&quot; has me thinking that it&apos;s only a matter of time before we start to see these Grim Donut geometries start trickling into the race bikes in the DH World Cup, where uphill doesn&apos;t happen... but possibly as a mullet to help with the playful aspect?

  Don&apos;t go giving the &quot;Industry&quot; any ideas like Rear Steering! Anyone will eventually get used to a &quot;Mutant&quot; bike, especially if a change solves a problem issue. Going over the bars is rare with new geometry for me, my1999 bike sends me OTB on virtually every ride. Thanks Seth!
