Now that you've seen the episode, what do you think? Did she fall or was she pushed?

I am Jolaine's sister. I was the 12th one born. I was 12 when Jolaine moved to Kansas City to stay with Joyce and Carolyn. I remember when she disappeared how hard this was on my parents. My Dad died in 2010 at 101 years old. Till the very end, he always said how he wished he knew what happened to her. We were a very close family so we knew she didn't just run away. We are so thankful she finally got to come home. We know she is in heaven with our parents and some of our brothers and sisters.
We want to thank Police Chief Lisa Tarango for agreeing to reopen the case. Thank you to the people of Peso for giving her a proper funeral. A special thanks to Othram and The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for working on this case. We never knew how many people cared for Jolaine during this time. Thank you isn't enough.

As a person whom lost their sister to murder in 2022, this hits different, yes my sister was found 9 months later in a lake, but we never got answers to what happened to her, it's a cold case, my sister was loving, caring, and had 3 children, and the best big sister ever, sadly Norway doesn't give off much like these people, my sister's case will remain unknown she called the cops 2 times the night before her murder, for help, we got her back after 9 long months, sadly we'll never get any answers to who, why, what, I miss her a lot, I can relate to this, but its a different kind of feeling, I found out eventually she was found, however I'll never get the closeure of knowing whom or what happened, Veronika Belgen will always be in my heart big sister <3

"he's not suspected of anything except skipping town without paying the hotel" bro are you kidding? He snatched his only identification and fled after his supposed wife was found DEAD and he's not suspected?? Just cause she drowned doesn't mean she entered the pool of her own accord.

Wow, her mother saying that she sees her and that she will be with her in heaven broke me. She had a good loving family and could have had an amazing life. May she and her parents rest in peace, together for eternity.

I've seen several stories about this girl over the years, and I'm so glad they identified her. Now, on to find the evil monster who did this to her.

So, yeah, advertising your company's services, but in one of the most tasteful and clever ways I've ever seen. Truly compelling stories, compassionately told, and with stellar production values. Othram deserves its success.

33:38 no wonder the police chief Lisa Tarango was so affected by the case. When she revealed her history I couldn't help but shed tears.

All of the love and kindness that surrounded this young lady after her death.........the people who donated cash to put towards her funeral, people who donated her burial dress, and her coffin, and the funeral home man who kept her records, and the detective and col. who worked on her case......it was wonderful. I know she looked down and appreciated that. What a wonderful group of people. And Othram, thank you so much for what you do.
