  I just hand pollinated melons, pumpkins, and squash this morning!  I grow my melons and pumpkins in ground in the greenhouse so it's warm enough for long enough in Seattle. It's a crazy jungle by the end of the season.

  I live in south Louisiana and I don&apos;t know when I threw melon seeds out in the backyard but I guess we are growing melons now and so here I am 😂 <br>This is probably the fourth time I&apos;ve thrown seeds out as a joke and ended up accidentally growing something

  I had a friend who got volunteer melons on their compost pile every spring ! They grew like crazy there !

  Thank you for speaking specifically about watering. NO ONE ever explains this. This is such a vital part to successfully growing sweet melons. Hopefully someone will donate an entire video to fertilizing and watering.

  I had to hand pollinate my white zucchini this morning....I have been seeing blossom end rot, so I fertilized a couple days ago and hand pollinated today! Thanks so much for all the information, I wouldn&apos;t have know what to do without you Eric...I mean Kevin! 🤣😉

  We live in Missouri which means we have temps in the 80s and then later that day we have snow. I&apos;m not kidding. Gardener&apos;s honor.

  I’m so happy to hear you recommend planting zinnias with them I planted pink and green zinnias &amp; cosmos with my sugar bush baby for fun and pollination and now I feel reassured! 😅

  I can verify that you can grow watermelon in the PNW! I grew three bush sugar babies in a 15 Gallon Grow Bag last year. So far this year, I have one plant in that same Grow Bag. It seems to be doing better with more space for roots with that single plant. I tried it last year based on Kevin&apos;s comment on my comment to just start them in seed trays to better time the soil temp opening in my short Lynden, WA growing season.
