The algorithm is working for the guests, not for you (the host).<br><br>You will want to build your listing base on the persona of the demographic you target. You can even have my multiple listing builds for the same listing, optimized for the guest you are aiming for.<br><br>Have a separate listing build for the time of year, for targeting last minute travelers (to fill calendar gaps), travelers who book longer stays, and for travelers who book far in advance.<br><br>If you have welcome packages, put in items that you can advertise in your listing build to optimize for keywords. Example, for your long stay guests, have a package that has free coupons, things to do maps, etc...

So when I have blocked off 2 weeks when we had new concrete driveway poured, or when we go on a trip ourselves for a month... Does that hurt our visibility for other times?

Weird things happen to me. I’ll run a promotion and it gets zero views. So I removed the promotion. Those days then were booked within a half hour. How?

I have found here lately when searching in incognito mode that Airbnb is using a picture for my hero photo that I have NOT selected as my hero photo and it is not one I want as my first photo. Any ideas why they are doing this?
