I’ve already been telling myself that I need to refresh my closet and get rid of all the clothes that I don’t wear anymore or don’t fit me anymore, and this was the sign I needed to do it today

Getting rid of clothes you don't wear or don't spark joy is one of the best things you can do. If you're like me and it is tough to get rid of clothes you once loved, do what I did. I just removed them from my closet and put them in a suitcase or something. In the next few months when I am getting ready if I never even think about that piece as something I'd wear, it is time to move on and I donate or sell it

The biggest thing that gives me analysis paralysis is color coordinating.

When I first became interested in fashion, I spent way too much money on fast fashion. Now that I know what I like, I almost exclusively buy second-hand. Nearly all my sweaters are from the 90s. I bought them at charity shops for €2 to €5 each. A boxy fit with decent quality for little money is the perfect combination for me.

Nothing shifted my relationship with fashion more than materials and buying less, but buying better. The journey of discovering your core pieces and the way you like to wear them is fun. I'd rather buy an 100% wool overcoat rather than 3 of them made with polyester or a synthetic blend. Your oversized Pima t-shirts have become a staple in my wardrobe, and I plan on buying a couple more because the quality is fantastic and the fit is immaculate. I'd rather buy once and cry once rather than repeatedly spend money on clothes that are of poor quality and won't last long. Wonderful video, Tim:)

I 100% think the outfit on 0:30 can be corrected instead of dismissing it as a mistake.

The mustard turtleneck sweater + black tailored trousers + Chelsea boots finally camerl/grey coat will absolutely look phenomenal 👌

Key Takeaway: Your style is already in you, you just have to learn how to identify it. The fits that you see on Pinterest, YouTube videos and out in public that draw your attention is the hint.

Okay, so my problem is that I am definitely on the chunkier side of the spectrum. I am 5'11 (or 180 in useable units) and weigh around 100kg, sadly not from muscle, but an extended belly.
For that reason, I always struggle with high waisted trousers, although I would LOVE to wear them. They fit my silhouette (I have a pretty even 50/50 torso to legs, +/- 5) and I really struggle with weight loss. Diets don't stick, because I have a job that doesn't allow for a regulated day, sometimes I start work at 9, sometimes at 7, sometimes I start at 12. During work I mostly sit at a desk and that is detrimental to physical activity and pretty bad for posture.
The outfit I like to wear the most is a black jeans with a slimmer fit (not skinny, but toned), paired with light sneakers and a turtleneck in either black or cream white. For accessories I wear a stainless steel sportswatch with a white dial and a silver necklace. For jackets, I still haven't found ones that fit my style that well, but preferably a longer coat in camel brown, or light grey.

STYLE over the F word any day.
Yohji Y. and Issey M. are my go to guys for relax comfy styles, Rick O. for edgy moods and Vivienne W. for twisted British tailoring.
Thank you for the sound advice.
