also thanks for the info about Mumma! It truly is fabulous, we ate there last week based on your recommendation. We did not make a reservation either but apparently they have a room in the back just for folks with no reservations, it was quite intimate, sitting around a u shaped room on u shaped banquette with the other outcasts ha ha but wow the food really was extraordinary! Much more inventive than any place we experienced in Paris the following week. (but to be fair, in Paris we went for the traditional French, Moroccan and North African). thanks for this series, we loved Chamonix and will go back!

oh my! thank you for the reminder about the closing days of the lifts! we will be there on one of the days several lifts close this year! we will schedule carefully!

This is very cute video. I particularly liked the tip regarding making sure you get food or sandwiches before things close around 7 or 7:30 p.m.
