We were on Family Feud in 2001. In fact, we were the first family to play for and win $20,000! Our original air date was September 11, 2001. We were pre-empted by the events of the day so we aired in December. Our episode was the first time 2 African American played against each other.

Louie went back on Feud with Steve before his death.

Can you imagine Richard Dawson kissing Arnold Schwarzenegger during THE RUNNING MAN? That would be insanely hilarious! 😂

Disappointed you didn’t mention anything about the Theme Song and how it changed in 1999, then changed back in 2008.

Great job with the history of one of my favorite game shows of all time.
May I suggest Hollywood Squares or Pyramid for the next history video?

Another banger man. I remembered seeing the Louie version for the first time and barely remembered Family Feud being on when i was a baby.

Also one thing i do like about Steve, if you’re a male and you crush Fast Money, he’ll purposely shove you or whacks you with the notepad😊😅

You forgot one last thing on this. During the modern day version(1999-2020), on the Fast Money round, The Face-Off Podium that were used during the main game, and sudden death, was completely removed, until during the pandemic that they decided to keep the podium in tact to let the podium in for the Fast money round. Too me, its disappointing no one has ever said things like that.

Name an animal with three letters in its name and September will always be classic!

Richard Dawson and Ray Combs were both great! They will always be my favorites John O’Hurley wasn’t too bad.

With O’Hurley he told me exactly what he said in that quote that he was asked to do the show for another season even with low rating but he turned it down because he didn’t like the questioning of the show which is what made the current Steve Harvey version so popular.
