The resort is directly connected to the temple paths. Have the staff arrange early morning access to the temples so you can experience the morning chants before the massive public tourist crowds arrive. Embrace the Rusticity (Or Skip It): You need to understand the Aman philosophy before booking. This is not a hyper-modern marble fortress with touchscreens and automation. The dwellings feature original stone floors, exposed wooden beams, and intentionally minimalist lighting to preserve the historic village feel. If you cannot live without cutting-edge room tech and a massive flat screen in your face, you will find this property underwhelming. The Longjing Tea House: Do not skip a session at the traditional Tea House on-site. They serve local Longjing (Dragon Well) tea harvested right from the fields surrounding your room. It is an incredibly slow, peaceful, and authentic experience that perfectly fits a late-afternoon lo-fi headspace. Navigation at Night: The village pathways are intentionally kept dimly lit at night with traditional lanterns to respect the nearby monastic community and preserve the serene atmosphere.
