  at first I was like ''huh the koopalings were fun, yet a bit easy'' then the buffed up refights I went like ''okay I like this, not bad'' and little did I knew there were even harder battles, the 2nd refights are seriously hard, no powerups at all and thats very appreciated

  its crazy that literally just adding the medal system and keeping the actual levels exactly the same could have fixed seemingly most of the issues with this mode

What stands out to me most here is the difference between content volume and meaningful challenge. 74 challenges sound huge on paper, but your breakdown really shows that quantity alone does not automatically create a stronger player experience. If the timers are too generous and the structure rarely asks much of the player, the mode stops feeling like a challenge and starts feeling more like a guided rehearsal. That is why your comparison to Mario U lands. A good challenge mode is not just extra stuff to do. It is a place where movement, routing, and mastery actually get tested. What is interesting here is that Wonder still seems strongest when it leans into clarity and creativity, especially in the no-damage Koopaling fights, because those are the moments when the game finally asks the player to engage rather than just complete.

  I &nbsp;really wonder why there are invincibility &quot;challenges&quot;, they really really loved making the player invincible with a lot of Wonder effects making you invincible and a lot of challenges doing the same
