  I&apos;ll be honest, I do miss the old lets plays, especially of minecraft, where it basically was just, essentially, just chill gameplay and talking. <br>No challenge, no massive builds that need to be done, just.. Playing the game, collecting resources, or building, and talking about whatever may be going on, either in the world, the past, etc.. but just chilling and talking. <br><br>So thank you for bringing me back to the past.

  Watched most of this series almost exactly a year ago. It was my comfort series during the week that I recovered from a really mysterious fever. I had also just started dating my girlfriend and was recently unemployed. Crazy how nostalgic I feel coming back to this now considering all the random stuff that went on then lol. Great video as always

  as somebody who grew up watching videos much like these, just old minecraft gameplay with anecdotes over top, i am so excited to binge all of these videos. i feel like a kid!

  Hey man. Love the vid! Just a tip for video compression: if you record a video in 1080p, but export it in 2K or 4K after editing the video, Youtube will use a slightly better compression codec even though the resolution hasn&apos;t actually changed. If you click on stats for nerds on a video in 1080p, you can see the codec says &quot;avc1&quot; (the lower quality one) , and if you click stats for nerds on a video in 2K or 4K you can see it uses &quot;vp09&quot; instead, which significantly reduces compression artifacts. Hope this helps!

  Please keep this going, it’s extremely calming and enjoyable to watch. <br><br>Love your commentary, it reminds me of a better time of YouTube. No drama, no clout chasing, no algorithm heavy decisions, just (seemingly) a guy playing a game and talking about it solo with no live chat

  Algorithm suggested your most current upload in this series and now im watching from the start. The way you talk about BTA has me curious and would love to see a playthrough of it, seems you know your way around it. 1.7.3 is my true home, but alpha is pretty damn cozy.

  Hey there Mahjong, just wanted to share that I’ve been watching your alpha minecraft videos and they’ve helped calm my nerves quite a bit. I just started a new government job and it is a little stressful, but watching your videos at night before I sleep helps me feel some sort of comfort and connection.
