Absolutely beautiful. I am just now getting into mosaics and you have inspired me. I love love love the plate table. I now understand why mosaics are so expensive. This is very hard labor. Sometimes it takes a solid hour to break up a plate and sort out the pieces. And you’re right, making sure all your tile is the same height is a challenge. That’s why I like to use tile adhesive vs glue because it’s a little stiffer than the glue and you can build the adhesive up underneath the thinner pieces.

To fix the height, you can build up the edges of the table with Styrofoam or wood with plastic on top, and then do a resin coat! <br><br>You can do a couple of inches and then that will make the table level and easier to wipe down

I think for the edging a shlouder (idk how to spell it) would work really good to finish off the sides it’s like a metal piece used for wall tiling
