Very interesting . I am fascinated by the relatively obscure characters in history . He had the insight and sensitivity to see through the sham and hypocrisy of the Viennese peacock court . His relatively mild misdemeanour was nothing compared to the Kron Prinz Rudolf's suicide and murder of Baroness Vetsera at Mayerling . In fact one might say that the Habsbourgs as a family were all barking mad .

Bringing back memories. When I was 7 to 8 years old my father, a U.S. Army captain, was the director of the Kavalier Haus on the Schloss Schonbrunn grounds. The Schonbrunn was our playground and watching my father welcoming many VIP dignitaries., I am now 80 years and have returned to Salzburg and the K-Haus (now a school for new vacationing students) and walked through the Schloss many times. Thank you for this now downloaded video. I was a history professor, even specializing on the Habsburgs. My last long visit included 3 weeks in Vienna and several days in Ischl and driving around the Tyrol. Danke

My family adored Emperor Franz Joseph. They never mentioned a word about Luzi-Wuzi. Fascinating. They also spoke of Empress Sissi.

We are still proud of Luzi-Wuzi. In his last years he silently helped people of Salzburg, where he was sent.
