  Excellent list! I haven't played Radiant Dawn or either Shadow Dragon, but I've played everything else (plus an english translation of Binding Blade). We have a similar Top 5 except Shadows of Valentia is a Top 5 for me!

  Great video. This is all on me but I have to say that even through all the spoilers I’ve had for Awakening through the years, I didn’t know Lucina was Chrom’s daughter. I just spoiled myself of probably the biggest surprise in the game I’m just starting right now… oh well

  One of the best lists ever made! 👌 Three houses is the only one I've played to finish unfortunately but i want to own them all! Three houses is top for me, it's truly amazing. Love tactical turn based rpgs!

  Brilliant list, only ones I&apos;d be tempted to swap is 3 houses and Awakening but since it saved the series (and being a Brilliant game) it being at number 1 is a good choice.<br>The only additional things I would mention is the 2 games missing off your list, (well 4 but I&apos;m not counting Heroes or Shadows since they&apos;re mobile titles) the Warrior spin offs, obviously not typical Fire Emblem since they&apos;re Musou games they are still pretty fun, and Three Hopes definitely has an interesting enough story to warrant playing.

  As a great FE fan, from Scotland, I feel you should know that those games didn’t release worldwide, only in Japan. Also the UK isn’t a country, I would expect a FE fan to know the true definition of.

  I think the list overall isn&apos;t bad but its a bit flawed,i think your engage review was a bit off the mark,the story is pretty average,is no different than awakening and shadow dragon,or even sacred stones but at the same it has stronger themes than both of them,in awakening tou start with chrom grabbing a tactician from the floor and from that point onwards you are just hearing about power of friendship and one dimensional villains,the game &quot;saved the franchise&quot; but the franchise only needed 250k copies to be saved,any fire emblem released at that point could have done it,awakening also gives 2 you important choices that lead to nothing and the map/gameplay are alright, with 3h you have 2 stories that are fine and have good aspects and 2 bad stories,black eagles doesn&apos;t work for many reasons and golden deer is a lore dump that recycles the church story and is really boring and the gameplay map and what you have to do in between aren&apos;t good,engage story has really strong themes and parts even if the overall product is just fine but it&apos;s a game that really tries which becomes obvious when you read supports,in 3h the cast is more of a gimmick with a personality,they just give you clear intentions and a sad backstory right away while a lot of the character&apos;s don&apos;t really stray from it,in engage most of the characters have a hobbie but there is some like alcryst who are closer to 3h and have a gimmick instead of a hobbie,the more you read alcryst supports you learn more about him and you see him get better all the way until his pandrep support,his supports seem to happen in recruitment order,if you compare to marianne who doesn&apos;t get development and just changed a bit because she grew or with bernadetta who is treated as a joke it&apos;s day and night,alcryst is the example i used because i was talking with someone about him and decided to inform myself more,i wasn&apos;t dissapointed at all,i was surprised actually,if i had to use another example lysithea is a character i consider pretty decent or even good but she plays too much into her trope,her backstory and some details are good but after reading some of the engage supports i realized that engage actually gives you more about the characters and their personalities than 3h did despite 3h having more supports,i honestly wouldn&apos;t rate 3h and awakening higher than engage,the cast is probably the best or one of the best in the series and the story certainly did a better job overall than awakening,the story in engage even if just decent really has some neat details,other than engage i think conquest,radiant dawn,shadoes of valentia and fe6 are contenders for the best,the main issue with sov is that the gameplay really leaves a lot to be desire,radiant dawn has awful balance and some of the characters are just there as there weren&apos;t really supports in that game if memory isn&apos;t failling,conquest has the thing with fates where the lore is really good,a lot of the characters are great but in some cases the gen 2 drags it down a bit and the story while interesting needed better execution... oh and i think new mistery is probably another contender,the story with the assasins is an amazing plot line that doesn&apos;t get in the way of the main story,it felt masterfully added, clarisse was a better berkut before berkut existed
