First off, &nbsp;at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=em2RaEb1BYA&amp;t=257">4:17</a> there is a pawn indeed on the g file that can take the white knight, but if it does, then black loses faster. Say, pawn takes f5, and Fischer recaptures with the pawn. That opens the g-file, and both white rooks are already sitting on it, pointing at the bishop on g7 with the king behind it. Black&apos;s best defense is king to h8. Then rook takes g7 attacks the queen on f7, and the king can&apos;t capture that rook because the rook on g1 is defending it. The queen has nowhere good to go so she&apos;s forced to take: queen takes g7, rook takes g7, king takes g7. Fischer emerges with queen and bishop against two rooks and a wrecked black king. <br> <br>That&apos;s why the pawn never touches the knight.. it just ends with black exposed and White clearly winning.   The black position after move 5 is not impressive like you suggest. e5 is not a wall. White has 0 pawns blocked, black 2. It&apos;s just A position.
