  As a member of the female audience. BRING. ROMANCE, BACK!!!!!!!!!! It’s not weak or bad for a woman to want love, they can still be strong and badass in different ways but don’t have to be annoying Mary sue girl bosses!

  I&apos;m a man and even I like romance in non-romantic stories. <br><br>Love is part of human life. Portrayals of romance remind us of something that we do live through (or for) in life.

  That alternate take on Wish (have the villains be a power couple, give the heroine a romance plot) sounds so much better. Instead I guess we got the power of sisterhood between the queen and the heroine and it feels so fake...

  What happened to love being the greatest weapon/strength of all time? Or &quot;power of friendship&quot; last minute power-ups to save someone? It feels almost dystopian that Hollywood is kinda demonizing love, like caring for other people is a bad thing.

  I remember seeing disappointment that Barbie and Ken weren&apos;t a mutually supportive power couple. Instead the film fell back on toxic dynamics.<br>What&apos;s funny is if you go through Barbie&apos;s CGI movies they all make an effort to make the love interests good men and not just there because Barbie needs a Ken. Honestly they could out pace Disney in the fairytale romance department.
