Very cool video and very cool project! It is interesting to see how different people solve problems in different ways. From a video perspective, I am jealous of your underwater mask that allows you to "vlog" down there! I also got some nice ideas on how to better show our reef restoration project next time. Keep up the cool videos! - Cheers, Duarte

Guys, can we all just take a moment and appreciate that Barny is producing these short documentaries of AMAZING quality for us. I have never seen a channel of comparable dedication and high quality nature content with this exceptional amount of info in my 13 years of hanging around on YouTube. And he is providing all of this for absolutely free! This is what YouTube is about in my opinion. THIS type of content and creators is what makes this platform great and I find it astounding that this channel does not have more subs.
I'm sure I will come back to this comment in like a year when the channel has a six figure sub count xD

I hope more of these coral restorations will happen around the world. Sad to see so many reefs dying and fishes disappearing

If you guys ever need a diver for help, I'm game. Will work for food and hammock just to be part of this.

This is the kind of story I need to keep going. Almost all nature docs are about the loss--which is a crisis and important; but I know there is a crisis and only hearing about how bad things are makes me shut down and not want to watch any nature docs at all. Thanks for this!

If I may, aluminum pipe fastening ties or even aluminum twist ties are actually a viable alternative to zip-ties. Mossy Earth actually discovered as much in their own reef-rebuilding project.

I always love watching documentaries about people restoring ecosystems.
Especially corals, because not everyone has the ability to dive in.

this feels like it should be a 1mil+ sub channel. The quality is incredible and it's for a good cause?? I love it.

Not only did you display the reef restoration in a good way, you also made a super interesting documentary about the marine life that lives there! Awesome video!

please do more of these. Its so unfathomably satisfying to watch an ecosystem and its species return.
