At the young age of 72, I've finally come to realize the reality of " Transactional Friendships " and even the more painful " Transactional Love". <br>They both are from the same painful broom of neglect and abandonment. This was a good story and life lesson but I find it so sad that people have to go through this and I'm sure it happens to more people than we know. I'm really glad that the father took action. Will his family see the error of their ways and how badly they treated the person who had their backs and genuinely cared for them all those years? I have to say that I doubt it. Self centred people rarely see or acknowledge the truth in my opinion.
