  Narcissists never admit their mistakes. &nbsp;The third party was a powerful, negative influence. &nbsp;He treated me like disposable trash, and he won&apos;t admit, even to himself that he ruined everything. &nbsp;He expects me to sweep everything under the rug and I won&apos;t do that. &nbsp;He left scars that haven&apos;t healed. &nbsp;I wish him well but he has to go away from me because he won&apos;t grow up and won&apos;t take responsibility nor accountability for all he did.

  I still remember the twisted sense of pride I felt when he finally replied after ignoring me all day. I treated a six-hour response time like it was some grand romantic gesture. Now it honestly makes me nauseous how low I had let myself fall. I was that girl zooming in on his messages, analyzing punctuation like it held secret meaning, convincing myself that his coldness was just “stress” and not blatant indifference. Then I read The Obedient Boy Protocol, and it felt like someone slapped the delusion out of me. The psychological tactics inside are so sharp they should be classified as weapons. I stopped reacting emotionally and started responding with intention. Stopped rewarding his inconsistency and started valuing my silence more than his attention. The shift was instant...he went from acting like I barely existed to blowing up my phone every time I didn’t reply fast enough. This book doesn’t teach you to wait. It teaches you to win

  I feel this ❤ he&apos;s feeling like he needs to make up old promises where life got in the way. I hope he heals enough to vocalize that, I am so glad there is still the friendship there, we&apos;re learning to navigate it in a more healthy way.
