I was there. Princess Diana died early morning hours of Sunday and Kevin Aviance came out and jumped up on a box and started performing “Things Just Ain’t the Same” by Deborah Cox. He screamed “For Diana!” Into the crowd. That was how we knew she had died. I still get chills. We were in there for the most part of that weekend. Legendary.

Nothing will ever compare to the mid 90's NYC club scene

I'm in here somewhere close to the stage.  Happy 2026.  Hard to believe this is almost 30 years.

The Palladium was an epic club in NYC back in the day. For Junior Vasquez to finish his epic, DJaying at the Palladium was amazing 👏 🎉😊

Absolutely amazing this was recorded.  Thank to the oetson who bothered to do so!  I lived in NYC from 95 to 2012, and the late 90's were still so full of nightlife, different music and club nights, big nightclubs, techno, hiphop, latin, rock, house, so many great dj's, specialty parties like Basement Bhangra, Jackie 60, Body and Soul in Central Park, 'tiswas at Don Hill's, Mecca, Nell's, Arena...on and on.

I thought my memory of those stairs was influenced by drugs, but those were those stairs, the "only stairs"
