  I genuinely didn’t know people disliked this mode. I only have fond memories of it and was super upset when a story mode wasn’t included in smash on the switch

  Remember when if you saved Peach instead of Zelda in the beginning, Link is the one who gets angry instead of Mario when you&apos;re fighting her dark clone

  If we never get the subspace emissary again, then we&apos;ll never get another fanfic based around it thats the longest peice of literature in the english language &nbsp;:(

  My favorite story would have to be Rob&apos;s, the dude felt bad for his robo-homies dying, and decided to not work for the subspace army anymore. Then, all the robs betray him and try to shoot him with lasers and kill him, but he survives and beats all of them. Never expected such a good character arc from a robot that doesn&apos;t talk.

  Subspace Emissary has so much personality, it&apos;s the only thing I think Brawl gets better than every other Smash game. If only Ultimate had a legit story mode :(

  Ah, I miss the good old days of Brawl. When we all thought Master Hand would be the final boss, and then it was Tabuu. That was a great game.

  agreed. with very few words, this story mode is hands down one of nintnedo&apos;s best: the greatest thing before MCU
