Vivian Campbell was such a HUGE part of the Dio sound. Vivian and Ronnie had something special going on. It's a shame they parted and we only got 3 albums with the two of them.

I saw Ronnie James Dio live with Rainbow, Black Sabbath and with his own band, Dio. As good as he was in the studio, he was even better live. A colossal talent

Dio had one of the best and powerful voices in rock. I point to his best performance when he was in the group Rainbow, his live 1977 Munich version of the Deep Purple cover called "Mistreated" shows how incredible his vocals were in his prime (at that time he was in his early 30s. ).

According to RJD the symbol 🤘 was taught to him by his Grandmother, she said it was a symbol against evil. RJD popularized it through the metal community.🤘🎸

Something you may not know, Dio's first hit song was as a country artist. The man was soooo talented.

You did reaction to Heaven and Hell 3 months ago. Dio sometimes during concerts made little medleys, where he was putting pieces of his other songs as an addition to a song.

I seen Dio with Motörhead and Iron Maiden in Chicago, it was such a good concert, but when Dio did man on the silver mountain and Heaven and Hell it was like a religious experience, one you’ll never forget!
