Nobody in history has ever rented a VHS from Woolworths on any day, let alone a Saturday.

I miss the 1980s and the worst part of it is that now, heading for 57 this year - I feel almost a physical pain, I miss it so much. I almost feel desperate. The 1980s were the first half of my life - the better part. I remember that time so clearly. 😢

    The 1980s were fantastic years.

I remember in 1982 getting the ZX Spectrum 48k when I was 9 yrs old. And playing Horace Goes Skiing, absolutely loved the game. And still to this day remember it as though it was yesterday.

1980s TV also had ITVs wrestling on Saturday. And myself and my grandad would scream at Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks.

Didn't have MTV for music, but Top of The Pops was the goto for music for myself in the 80s. And also taping the Top 40 on a Sunday with my Boom Box, and getting annoyed at the presenter talking over the end of the tune.

And for the Caramac, thats been discontinued also.

We had our milk delivered into the early '80s but our milkman then started delivering after we had all left for work, meaning our milk was outside for the whole day until we got home from 5pm, meaning that it went off and announced to the world that the house was empty, so we cancelled it and started buying from Tesco. Obviously never went back.
