  you couldnt tell me nothin bout Wayne at this time. he was like Hip Hop’s charismatic lil brother & an Urban Cartoon Character. once he took over, it became “Rap Music: Starring Lil Wayne” ..his music was fun, clever  & never too deep, which kinda backfired as his fanbase grew up. which is what we see today.

  Dam somebody finally made a video about the best version of Wayne it wasn’t Carter 3 etc it was 06/07 Wayne I’ve never seen a rapper better than this version of him.. This is when he created the legend he is today

  Wayne is a lyrical prodigy , after I heard 10,000 bars I knew lil Wayne was a rhyming machine and he’s really gifted at that.

  The Start of Dipset Weezy is really (2003)-2007 , 2005 is when he really stayed in New York consistently

  Forgot to mention “Tha Carter 2 part 2: like father like son mixtape” (hosted by dj khaled). Its titled really dumb but its basically a prequel to the “like father like son“ album and  was very dipset-inspired in terms of production and rapping 🔥🔥🔥 veryy underrated tape
