  She is licensed in life coaching and has masters in psychology but not licensed in marriage counseling.  There is a body that can review and revoke her license… this is a second case I’ve seen where the defendant gets together with the clients ex.. it’s disgusting and unethical..

  What the Defendant told the Plaintiff is no different than a friend telling her over glasses of wine to be cold to hubby to see if he notices and starts fawning all over her, then when he didn&apos;t, to tell her to double down and threaten a separation. <br>Except that this asinine advice from a friend would&apos;ve been free. Plus the Plaintiff wouldn&apos;t have taken that advice as gospel and implemented it since friend isn&apos;t an &quot;expert&quot; like the Defendant.<br>Horrible woman toying with relationships like that.<br>Didn&apos;t we have a similar case not too long ago where a woman sued a marriage counselor who starting seeing her boyfriend/hubby/whatever the hell he was?<br>As I recall the marriage counselor wore some weird jacket with holes in it.<br>Are there male marriage/couples counselors? A word to the wise might be to hire a therapist of the opposite sex.

  Here’s the thing when it comes to the ever popular “life coach” vs . LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist) .<br><br>As an LMFT there is rigorous training and hundreds of hours you have to go through under SUPERVISION to be able to be licensed . Also as an LMFT vs a life coach an LMFT is held to very particular standards and codes of ethics that come to potential consequences if they are broken and someone is emotionally or physically damaged by your negligence (possible lost of license) <br><br>A life coach really answers to know one …so the all important checks and balances are missing
