I don't think that people understand how important this is. He's talking about the capital structure of the United States for the last 40 years, and how it made people rich but didn't improve quality of life. And, he also talks about how that process will reverse. This is foundational to investing.

I think Dr. Hunt's "urgency" is essentially letting us know the explanation is simple, but the repercussions will be enormous. The whole macro environment has changed. Implicitly I think he is confirming 60 equity /40 bonds portfolio is long gone.

It's quite a nice compliment to Adam that someone like Lacy Hunt wants to use Adam's forum to get his message out. Also, Lacy Hunt is a great interview subject. I hope he takes this message to CNBC if they ever have him on again.
