I have started painting in my 50's .I bought on line Helen Van Wyk books and was reading and painting.
I only could dream about her 'life lessons". So I just was looking at her paintings in her books and copied them.
I was actually surprised that I like what I painted. She was great teacher.
Now I have another favourite teacher on YT. I can see now a completely different approach to oil painting.
My skills grow too. But I am still just self- taught amateur.
Thank you very much for upload.

I used to watch her years ago, I can still watch her all day long, such a talented artist and beautiful soul.

She paints so fast and somehow doesn’t get any paint on her clothing 😮

You explain it so well! And demonstration and tips. Makes it so more understandable and less scary. Thank you!
