This Roblox Game Makes You Question Your Morality | My Judgement

Learning about the law teaches you that it is less about your morality, but actually the ethics. The difference between ethics and morality is that morality is arbitrary to the person, when ethics is the morality that society agrees upon. The fact that your own judgments don't matter in this game (getting the right sentence or wrong sentence, though it varies depending on the justice system of whichever country) is an example of that. Playing through this game, I never really questioned my own morality, because I was simply doing what Law, and therefore society, tells you to do in prosecution. NCRMD tells you that they cannot be charged. Therefore, you sentence them as per those instructions. There is very minimal room for self-insertion here. I feel like the idea of legally gray areas could be better expanded upon by emphasizing more on mitigation factors, but it was a fun game nonetheless.

I think the real reason why its a psychological horror game is bc it makes you read a whole essay abt laws at the beginning, the case files, and yes.

Usually, in crimes, if one is unnamed, the victim is called “John Doe” or “Jane Doe”
