  As someone that has done all his own maintenance since the late 1960&apos;s, I feel a bit lost after 2 years of nothing to do but wash and drive. My 2023 Id4 has been close to perfect. I haven&apos;t found any degradation in performance in 25,000 miles. I have gotten used to the touch controls but still miss actual buttons and knobs.

  Hallo from Norway, bought an 2021 ID4 MAX with absolutely all equipment, with 75000 miles. 77 kWh battery, with nearly cero degradation, but first owner only charged at home, and the climate here is not very hot as I Texas. I’m standing behind all your comments, really good car, no problems at all👍 The price loss here is about 60% after five years, but mine is honey yellow, so I got it at bit cheaper than a black one. Mine has DCC adaptive dampers, and even with 21 inch tires it runs smoothly👌

  Very fair review. As the owner of a 2021 ID.4 Pro and about 60,000 miles, I concur with just about everything you mentioned; pros and cons. I replaced the original tires with Michelin Defenders, a very good choice in my opinion. Depreciation is not an issue for me, as we drive our cars for years. Our 70&apos;s Volvos were driven 250,000 mi. Our Subarus we&apos;ve kept for many years. Our last (5th) Suby, a 2012 Legacy is our second car now. As our ID.4 is paid for, I see nothing on the market that would make me want to have car payments once again for the upgrade in features.

  I am glad you have had a great car. I had an 2022 Pro S RWD and I put on 124789 miles on the car in the 3 years I owned it. My original tires lasted 49k, I replaced them with Perelli Scorpion Zeros AS and still had 5/32 when I traded it in for a new one. The 2025 model is even better. 2022 one I averaged 3.5 m/kWh and still had around 89% of my battery heath. Brakes we still like yours good. I had the same recalls and ever year change wipers and air filter. The 25 we are doing the same. But it&apos;s average 3.7m/kWh.

  Thank you for the comments on your ownership experience. I just bought a used 2023 ID.4 AWD a few weeks ago and so far I am loving it. My first EV, too. My opinions so far mirror almost perfectly with yours, and hopefully mine will be just as reliable as yours has been.
