Massey Hall has been my favorite. There is another "similar" recording "One Night at Birdland" live in 1950 with Bird, Fats, Bud, Curley Russell and Blakey. On fire. Fats is something else on this. Check out Bud playing Round Midnight. It is like walikng down 52nd St. and going into a club at the height of the bebop era. Apparently, Fats Navarro rarely appered with Parker due to "cost" considerations!" Also, Rollins live at the Vanguard with Elvin 1957.
