  A 72 year old friend was recently admitted to hospital direct fro a&amp;e. She stayed in the same clothes for over 24 hours until I arrived with clean stuff. She hadn&apos;t had a shower or even a proper wash. Hospital hygiene is disgusting and far worse than someone&apos;s own hygiene if they were staying in their own home.

  The reason most elders feet.and toenails are neglected &nbsp;is from paient being unable to bend and being unable to reach their toenails,and people on social security ,most of them cannot &nbsp;afford the price it cost at nail salons!!!

  1. Don&apos;t skip daily moisturizer<br>2. Don&apos;t ignore foot care<br>3. Don&apos;t reuse the same shower sponge/lufa for months<br>4. Brush teeth daily to avoid bacterial pneumonia &amp; heart disease<br>5. Don&apos;t take long hot showers, warm is better<br>6. Change clothes &amp; incontinence products more frequently

  Nothing to do with age. Just look around Walmart. This is true for any age -common sense, decency and courtesy.
