A young boy in Britain had two failed heart transplants, and was home for end of life care. Everyone called him Captain Kori, because he loved pirates. People sent him gifts from all over, and he was always happy and grateful for them. He cared deeply about other sick children, and donated many of the gifts to help others. Captain Jack Sparrow was his hero. Johnny called him sometimes, as Jack, sent him a lovely, funny video message, and donated to Kori's fund for other sick kids. When our Captain left this earth, he was  given an amazing Pirate funeral, a hearse pulled by horses and a parade of people dressed as pirates. Johnny, as Captain Jack, was a pallbearer. The YouTube channel his mother Pixi ran for Kori is the Crap Goth. Godspeed, our Captain.

He’s not awkward…he’s real. Authenticity is uncomfortable for those who are « acting » through life or trying to be cool or liked; he’s himself. Like Katherine Hepburn and so many other greats, that weren’t trying to impress

I've always liked Mr. Depp because he's real and refuses to become anyone's puppet...

When I was in my 20 working in a restaurant in La he came to order a sandwich to go. He asked me if I were French and I said yes and in perfect French he said to me “ I have a peanut in my belly button “ and I started laughing so hard clients were looking at us maybe thinking we were friends. He was awesome!!!

I was in Mexico back in 2006 doing cancer treatment at an alternative medicine clinic, and I met this little Mexican girl who didn't speak English, I started chatting with her and found out that she was also there for the same type of cancer treatment that I was there for, Leukemia, and I found out that Johnny Depp had paid for her entire treatment, which was not cheap, and he kept in touch with her and her family. He has a heart of gold.
