  This episode bring out triggers from my past.  I used think that I'm not attractive because I'm 6ft tall and someone, who  is a pastor's wife, said to me that men will not date a tall woman and it made me feel some special kind of way. Even though I'm still single, I no longer allow people's opinion on what society or Hollywood picture of what the "perfect couple" looks like.

  I am 5ft 10. When I was a teenager, there was a couple who sat in front of me every Sunday at church. The man was much shorter than the woman. Every time I saw them, I said to myself, I will never date a guy who is shorter that me. It was a real hangup for me. Well, I met a man who was 4 inches shorter than me. Also, he was a scientologist, although he wasn't convinced about scientology was very receptive to biblical truths. He grew on me and my love for him overshadowed the height situation and we were married. We were very close. Praying together and sharing our biblical studies together. We lived and worked together and loved being being with each other. Almost 26 years after we married, he suddenly died. In fact, today would have been our 31 year anniversary.

  Getting to known someone for a year and half now and I still can’t be attracted to him …. Infact I get more put off by him so I don’t know his personality is amazing and exactly what I’m looking for but I don’t feel attracted

  This episode really hit home for me. I've been blind in one eye since birth and it has been a real struggle for me to not base my beauty and subsequent worth on my eye, on what the world deems a huge flaw. I've had a man on a date tell me to my face that I'd be beautiful if it weren't for my eye. It's been a long journey to see my value and beauty through God's eyes, not that of the world. I am reminded that not only did God make me this way, He doesn't make mistakes. And that the man He has for me will not look past my eye as a flaw, but see it as something unique that God blessed me with for His purpose.

  I love this episode! The first thing I found attractive about my girlfriend was her character, not her physical appearance (not saying she wasn't beautiful!). As we have started dating, I have found her more physically attractive! I think JJ and Kate are on point here.

  Great episode. A funny thing, I had a guy overlook me because he had only been seeing me at an adaptive waterskiing event/s… and so I was always “natural” because I was in/around the water 💦 in the hot sun… he finally saw a pic of me with some makeup and hair done, &amp; he said, “if I had known you looked that good, I would have asked you out … 🤔🤨🤣😂😅🤷🏼‍♀️… he married a woman that I have never seen makeup on her.. even in their wedding photos… lol… <br>It’s all good… I am ready to wait on God!

  I&apos;m 64, a widow, and have been dating a widower for about a year. We had physical chemistry at first, but that went away for me. I am struggling with having to end the relationship. Seeking counsel and the Holy Spirit&apos;s guidance to make the right decision.

  I&apos;m really sad, and confused.<br><br>I have a girlfriend and I care about her, but I don&apos;t find her attractive, particularly in the sun. It really bothers me. I whish I stayed friends with her. However, while there is a lack of physical attraction, when she holds me, I feel nice, it is warm.
