  i know the story got derailed lol, but Rock Hudson’s death was a huge impetus to find the cure for AIDS because so many straight people couldn’t believe that someone whose masculinity they idolised so much could be affected by it. One woman even trespassed into his hospital room and tried to convert him to Christianity before he died. Crazy life!
