  All i hear is basically 99% of parents didnt teach their kids anything about romance and neither did the teachers offer critical information.

  Another thing is teenagers will look at other people and mock them for not getting a gf/bf. Meanwhile they the ones with a bunch of exes somehow, having sex early (which is weird), having toxic relationships, and more negative bs

  I was in 11th grade when I met him and he was in 12th. (16 and 17 years old at the time). We actually had a lot of classes together and started dating a month after he broke up with his ex. She said “He’s so boring! He just plays pokemon and skyrim and talks about some dumb show called naruto all the time.” I was just thinking how perfect it was that we are into the same stuff.<br>It’s been 13 years together now. We got married and have 2 kids with #3 on the way. I believe a few other couples from our school are still together, but we are from a small town. My graduating class had like 80-90 people 😅

  However, it&apos;s important to acknowledge that there are indeed genuine couples out there. For example, my friend has been in a committed relationship with her boyfriend since eighth grade, and they are still together as we are about to graduate tomorrow.

  Dawg I’m 23 years old and still have never met a girl that I wanted to date. Relationships to teenage me were barely fathomable, yet my classmates were dating and even sleeping together if the pregnant student I passed in my sophomore year was anything to go by

  I had a girlfriend that I loved more than anyone else, our relationship lasted for 5 years. But her parents didn&apos;t like me so they moved away and forced her to cut ties with me. My heart was shattered and I wanted to end it all just to make the pain end. Thankfully I&apos;m still here because of my friends and family being there for me. Funny thing, back in school we were easily the most stable relationship. I saw so many begin and end while we were going strong. I even had a few times where someone would come to me to ask for advice. And I always gave the same answer, &quot;Take your time&quot;. I had gotten an entire year to get to know her before confessing my feelings and was beyond thrilled to know she felt the same. Funny thing actually is that it happened back in 2020, so we hadn&apos;t actually seen each other for months outside of Zoom classes, but we did have each other&apos;s numbers so we could text and we both were part of a d&amp;d campaign ran by our history teacher every Friday

  Nah, in my school, I genuinely couldn’t go 30 minutes without seeing a couple in the halls. THIS IS 7TH AND 8TH GRADE MIDDLE SCHOOLERS HOOKING UP TOO. IT’S DRIVING ME INSANE. And the girls always and I mean ALWAYS choose a guy that either looks or completely is athletic

  i’m a girl in 9th grade and dating genuinely sucks. there have been some guys i met that i’ve genuinely felt connected to, but none of them care about real or genuine relationships. all they want is a social status or your body. i’m definitely not saying all guys are like this, i know they’re not. it’s just lwk annoying when all you want is to feel sincerely connected with someone but no one actually values that. i’m not gonna worry too much about that rn though. it’s high school, it is what it is. everyone has a lot of maturing to do anyways.
