  The best example is Lampard.. he’s the highest scoring midfielder but no one dares to put him ahead of Zidane, Iniesta, Xavi because they were just simply 3x better. It’s never just about stats.

  I completely agree. In an era obsessed with statistics and output, a player like Pedri is a rare and precious commodity. His ability to dictate and decide games through pure football intelligence is second to none. I feel incredibly fortunate that a generational talent like him represents both the club and the national team I support.

  Pedri is top 3 for balón dor but in a World that only see stats and no football he would end outside top 10 again.

  He is the kind of players you cannot judge on stats. He is one of the reason I started watching la liga again. He is simply magical. Pedri Potter, the midfield wizard. De Jong is amongst the best, but Pedri is just out of this world.

  Pedri is the best midfielder in &nbsp;the world <br><br>and yes you can be the best midfielder in the world without amazing stats <br>Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, Kroos all of them were either the best or one of &nbsp;the best when they played and they rarely if ever put up insane stats <br><br>and of course it applies too players like Busquets and Andrea Pirlo aswell

  If he would&apos;ve have been 6&apos;2 like busquets, he would&apos;ve smoked bellingham in physical and aggressive aspect too (the only thing bellingham is clear in tho)

  Pedri is the closest thing to Iniesta, the midfielder who at the beginning did not score nor assist much but his way of playing is what made him great.
