  In Breath of the Wild there is a Rito in Gerudo Town. &nbsp;She stands in front of the meat stall wishing they had poultry. &nbsp;It makes sense since most of the Rito resemble birds of prey.

  Considering that the Koroks were completely fine in the Eldin region when the volcano was still erupting and made it so hot that wooden weapons instantly caught fire, I&apos;m honestly not sure if even Korok faces on their own are edible.

  The &quot;Face&quot; of a korok is probably just a mask they use to resemble a face (like the korok mask armor piece) , since they don´t have a mouth or eyes, something obvious if you look a hestu, &nbsp;they always have their nose piercing the leaf to hold the mask, and in some cases, the nose is way above the &quot;eyes&quot; of the mask, specifically the Korok face that resembles more the frond.<br><br>So, in conclusion, The face of koroks is probably just a Korosk front with a face painted, and eating them doesn&apos;t hurt the korok in any way other than maybe emotionally.

  I like imagine that the hearts of food is measured by how good they taste, so korok fronds probably taste pretty bad (Like those edible leaves in real life)
