As I rewatch season 5 when Lindsey was in the picture there really were clues he loved Peyton. Obviously the kiss, the fight about the book, him not being able to look Peyton in the eyes when Lindsey showed Peyton the ring, and when he couldn't look her in the eyes when she asked about the kiss, and the discomfort he had seeing how much pain Peyton was in when she was willing to let him go for him to be happy. Season 5 really takes us back to Season 1 because originally Lucas was chaser and Peyton was the runner, but of course, the roles do flip lol

Lucas and Peyton have a beautiful love story with some unnecessary things for drama, but overall it is beautifully written and acted. Peyton was always my favorite character since the beginning so it was easy to ship them. I spent hours in the forums writing essays defending my girl 😅
I feel sorry for people that was never able to understand them or see the beauty in their stories because Brooke was a way easier character for people to like etc. Anyway, I will be 80 and I will never get over them. 😂❤

This show came out the day I was born and it has since been my favorite growing up. Leyton has always been my favorite despite them being somewhat toxic at times.

While I only ship Leyton in early S1 (I freaking HATE how many love triangles this show had throughout its run), this is edited beautifully. You did an amazing job with your scene choices matching the lyrics.

INSTANT FAVE ❤ 😭 This is GORGEOUS!!! I’m so happy there are other Leyton shippers out there keeping this couple alive ❤❤❤ This video highlights everything about why I love them. They’ll always be my OTP and editing them to Taylor is chef’s kiss ❤️🥹

I cried a river for this series. I understand a lot of possibilities. It widens my inderstanding when it comes to circumstances. It brings back my faith to love. And it shows how you should grow as a person and as an individual. To my Peyton and Lucas era, thank you for sharing us a lot of lessons to learn. I can now forgive myself for those unfortunate things that happened in the past. I can now peacefully sleep at night without worries.
