Smile 1 TERRIFIED me 😭 I hated how real it seemed and when I saw the monster rip its face off I genuinely wanted to cry and cuddle my cat until I fell asleep 😢

Low budget horror games are so amazing cause instead of just seeing quality you get to see and take in the creative and artistic side of people

3:08 I HATE paranormal activity, not because it’s bad but because it’s to real just like Megan’s missing (or whatever it’s called) and unfriended. It feels like it could happen to me any day

The “I wonder why” made me spit out my water every time I watch a black and white film with my grandparents black people don’t exist or are workers in the background a black male lead actor for that time was probably why the film was so controversial and popular

 High budget movies choose quality

While low budget is just brutal, simple, realistic, artistic, and just more scary than a high quality wolf figthing each other

The reason low budget horror tends be most successful is because they don’t care about the money or the visual effects, but they care about the story and the creative aspect of their craft. And this applies for indie anything. Indie video games, inde animation, indie tv shows, indie authors aka self published authors, etc. All of them are working on a very limited budget so they don’t have time to focus on flashy, expensive effects. Artists are also basically putting their entire lives on Indie stuff so they have to make everything count cuz if they make something and it doesn't make any money, then they're basically homeless.

Because low quality makes it feel more realistic and also because you got to get creative with low budget movies (most of the time) Also the brain is a great weapon against you and having no real villain to see makes your brain go through panic
