I live in America, the media here about China is definitely not a positive one. However I have visited China and had a very good experience. I visited 4 cities, I find it affordable, clean, efficient , I enjoy the food, safe, and it is modern campared to most countries.

Welcome to my hometown. As a native of Wuhan, I would like to make a brief introduction: Wuhan is divided into three regions by the Yangtze River and the Hanshui River, namely Hankou, Hanyang and Wuchang. Wuhan is known for its abundant water resources, and naturally the attractions are all water-related. The most famous of these is the 'Yellow Crane Tower', an ancient building overlooking both sides of the river, and the river beaches on both sides of the Yangtze (a must-see at night), followed by the 'East Lake', China's largest inner-city lake. In addition to its beauty, Wuhan's main attraction is its breakfast (pronounced 'guo zao' in the local dialect) culture. Wuhan's local carb-rich breakfasts are inexpensive and come in hundreds of varieties. In fact, the street where you go to eat 'dou pi', 'Tube Alley', is not the ideal location for local snacks; for authentic Wuhan food, we recommend 'liang dao street'. Despite its many attractions, Wuhan is not really a tourist city and its economy is dominated by industry, education, transportation and commerce. If you go to the Wuchang district, which is full of colleges and universities, the language communication problem should be better. Finally, thank you for coming to Wuhan and showing the beauty of this city and have fun in Wuhan.

I recently asked one old worker who sweeps my parent’s neighborhood in Beijing. His salary is 3000 Chinese yuan per month. Housing is provided for free. He is retired from a different province. He found life is boring after retirement. So he came to Beijing to be a sanitary worker. Very light work because everywhere is already clean. He enjoys his work very much.

I recently returned from a trip to Chongqing and I'm still amazed! The city was so much more than I expected. The food was delicious and affordable, and the city was surprisingly clean. It's clear that the negative media portrayal doesn't do it justice. I highly recommend visiting Chongqing to experience its vibrant culture and stunning landscapes.

What the ladies were doing at the Yellow Crane Tower is a traditional Chinese story-telling art called 'kuai ban'. They tell stories while clicking those bamboo pieces.
