Really, REALLY wanted Brodie to win it all. He never robbed fans of 100% effort each night. The game will miss him

Even before becoming an NBA fan, I remember seeing Russ' MVP campaign ads back in 2017. I don't even live in a country where Basketball is big lol. Russ' reach really went far

However I feel about him, he is objectively one of greats.

I feel like any time people bring up Magic criticizing Russ for Game 3, they never mention Magic apologized literally the next game and said Russ is incredible after he dropped 43 lol.

It gets forgotten overtime just how good Russ and KD were in the 2012 finals. Even in the midst of Magic saying that Russ had a 40 point game.

Before Russ came along, people associated triple doubles with Oscar. Now you have to associate triple doubles with Russ.

Many forget russ tore his meniscus and had a wrist injury on his shooting hand that never fully recovered cause he decided to play through it. We never REALLY saw what should've been the best version of him, that was supposed to be a shooter closer to 2012-2017 than 2018 onwards, and a guy that was supposed to be somehow MORE athletic than he ended up being, which is wild

I’m Not a thunder fan and I didn’t grow up in Oklahoma however, I never missed a single OKC game because of Russ. Truly an electrifying player to watch I was a huge fan! Russ is a legend. Kind of sad to see him go. Not even kind of, extremely sad to see him go

The westbrook that could stop at full speed for a mid range jumper was my favorite Westbrook it was insane fr after he tore his knee & hurt his wrist it changed his career trajectory also having to do so much for a team for 4 to 5 years he had no time to focus on working on those problems like he should've so they just stayed. Still one of the greatest to do it 4 triple double seasons from a point guard is insane really
