The male lead has a rough look like he is actually a general better than the pretty boys they normally put as a general IMO. I like it.

"One's own path in life can only be built by oneself."
*
I would like to applaud the second FL, she always choose to act as the villain — her acting is one of the best.

I love this type of rebirth drama where there is a husband swap cuz you know it will never turn out the way the evil sister thinks it will. PS. I love the pretty boys that play the ML but in this drama I appreciated that we there was such a tall, attractive and manly actor playing the General. Feast for the eyes 👀. 😂

I always hated how even after the Villainess is caught and had done such horrible things, the parents STILL want her to be forgiven.

I liked seeing a version where the evil sister's perspective is thr main one shown. She was truly stupid and insufferable. I liked that the father wasn't evil and didn't immediately side with the younger daughter or speak ill of the older daughter of his concubine. I liked that the 2nd ML (though somewhat spineless) wasn't evil or impolite.

I appreciate that the FL & ML weren't 2 people who met when they were fetuses but only the guy remembers the girl and not the other way around. I hate stories like that. Admittedly I did see a guy I met in elementary school (one guy) as an adult and I recognised him, but it was darn hard. He remembered me first and then I remembered him. Here they both met as adults and they probably married not much later than when he saved her. Him keeping the kite and her remembering the kite actually make sense in this scenario. Plus they weren't beholden to each other (only wanting to marry one person in life, unflinchingly).

The cousin should not have been let off so easily. She gave the poison to the half sister. Here is hoping they gave word to the cousin's family about what she did and they found a way to take care of her.

14:16 This is a cool moment. She actually put the battle robe on over her wedding dress. That is so much better than just being left alone making excuses. It made her smile! 😊

First time I’ve see a ML block an assassination attempt WITH A HAIRPIN properly - by drawing and using his sword🎉!! Always makes me so mad when a skilled soldier blocks a hairpin attack by letting it stab him😠

You know…the sister is a villain but I kinda like her! 😆She accepted her defeat at the banquet and apologized…she hasn’t given up, yet…and she told her husband ‘I didn’t just start being disrespectful to that old hag, I’ve ALWAYS been disrespectful to her!’ 😂😂
